Chinese Super League Title Race Tightens: Top Three Teams Within 3 Points

The Chinese Super League title race is looking more and more tight as the top three teams in the league are all within just three points of each other.

At the top of the table, Shanghai SIPG have been performing exceptionally well this season, having won their last four games in a row to maintain their lead at the top of the table. Their win against Beijing Guoan on Sunday was particularly impressive, with goalkeeper Xu Qiufeng making several crucial saves to keep his team in front.

Behind them, Guangzhou Evergrande have also been in fine form, winning their last two games and moving up to second place. They will be hoping to build on that momentum when they face off against Tianjin Teda next week.

Finally, Jiangsu Sainty have also been in good form, winning their last three games in a row to move into third place. They will be keen to continue their winning run when they face off against Changchun Yatai next week.

As it stands, the Chinese Super League title race is very much alive and there is still plenty of football left to play. With only nine matches remaining, every game could potentially have a significant impact on the outcome of the title race. It remains to be seen who will come out on top and claim the elusive trophy for the 2018-19 season.
