Paris Saint-Germain has dismissed Real Madrid's €150 million ($169 million) offer for Kylian Mbappe, leaving the French striker with his current club valued at that price tag.
The news comes after Mbappe was heavily linked to a move to Real Madrid in recent months, with reports suggesting that the Spanish giants were willing to pay up to €150 million for the forward.
However, PSG has refused to budge on its asking price, meaning that Mbappe will remain with the Ligue 1 side until the end of the season.
The decision by PSG to keep Mbappe at the Parc des Princes is likely to be seen as a major blow to Real Madrid, who had hoped to sign the young starlet and boost their chances of winning the Champions League this season.
Despite the setback, PSG will still have plenty of firepower at their disposal, with Neymar, Angel Di Maria, and Edinson Cavani all remaining key figures in the team.
As for Mbappe, he has already shown his value to PSG, scoring 28 goals and providing 17 assists in just 34 appearances this season.
With his contract set to expire next summer, it remains to be seen whether Mbappe will continue to play for PSG or seek a new challenge elsewhere.
For now, however, it seems that Mbappe will remain in Paris, where he can continue to showcase his talents and help lead PSG to further success.
